Happy New Year 2026!

The Washington coastline is for wanderers, photographers, tide‑poolers, storm watchers, and anyone who feels restored by nature’s raw edges. It’s a place to walk slowly, breathe deeply, and feel small in the best possible way.

The beaches are strewn with colossal driftwood logs, sun‑bleached and sculptural, tossed ashore by winter storms. They form natural gateways and climbing frames, adding to the sense that this is a coastline shaped by raw forces rather than human hands.

At low tide, the beaches reveal hidden worlds: tide pools filled with starfish, anemones, crabs, and other marine life. It’s a place where you can crouch down and see entire ecosystems thriving in miniature.
